Overview: Quarantining of travellers coming from Italy, South Korea and Iran began. Soon thereafter, travellers from France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden and Australia were also added to the quarantine list.

Schools (state, private and international schools) were closed from 13th of March till 20th of April.

Universities and other higher education institutions also closed from 13th of March. Initially for 2 weeks but this was extended
