Overview: South Korea announced it would test all symptomatic arrivals from the United States for COVID-19, regardless of nationality, effective 0:00 of 27 March.

Among those who test positive, those with severe symptoms will be transferred to hospitals for treatment, and those with milder symptoms will be transferred to designated “Life Treatment Centers”. Those who test negative will be required to self-isolate at home for 14 days.

Korean nationals and foreigners who are asymptomatic will enter self-isolation for 14 days, and will be tested should symptoms appear within that period.
