Overview: South Korea announced enhanced screening and quarantine measures for all arrivals from Europe, effective 22 March.

All arrivals from Europe would be required to answer a health questionnaire, receive a fever check, and get tested for COVID-19. Arrivals exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will be tested at a quarantine facility. Arrivals without symptoms will be tested at designated temporary living facilities.

Korean citizens or residents who test negative will be required to self-isolate for 14 days in their place of residence and are subject to monitoring. Those without a place of residence in Korea will be housed in a temporary quarantine facility.
