21 April 2020 – School terms shifted to bring school holidays earlier

Overview: School terms to be shifted in 2020; the mid-year (June) holiday will now take place in May, within the ‘Circuit Breaker’ period instead. Assuming situation is appropriate, the extended Term 3 will now begin in June, and end in Sept, with a 1-week mid-term break in July. Home-based school will continue till 4 May 2020 for Primary/Secondary schools. At universities and polytechnics, if classes are planned between now till Jun 2020, these will begin through online platforms accessible from home.
