Overview: From June 2, 2020, , Singapore will have completed its ‘circuit-breaker’ period. To encourage continued economic relevance of the country, and supply chain continuity, businesses will be allowed to resume in phases, with Phase 1 allowing businesses with reduced public interactions and key economic relevance to continue – e.g. manufacturing, logistics, professional services, wholesale trade; as well as consumer-facing services of a more essential nature – e.g. motor servicing, hairdressing, school bookshops. Where possible, work-from-home arrangements will still be maximally encouraged. Persons at workplaces must exercise safe distancing measures.
