Overview: The Ministry of Interior and Passports Directorate launched an e-service for Umrah Visa violators (those who are in Mekka with expired visas) to apply for exemption from penalties that include: exemption from legal effects of delayed departure, exemption from financial penalties by law, exemption from being placed on the deportees list. The Saudi government will secure transportation to their respective countries free of charge. Violators must apply for the exemption by 28 March 2020.
