Overview: Recommendations of the IATF:
– Testing of overseas Filipino workers (OFW) arriving from Milan, Italy.
– Authorization for the Chief Implementer of the National Task Force for COVID-19 to exercise discretion of COVID-19 testing for the facilitation of processing around 16,000 OFWs and arriving foreigners.
– Starting 16 May 2020, all decisions on the imposition, lifting, and extension of community quarantine in all areas will rest with the IATF.
