Overview: IATF recommends implementation a whole-of-nation approach to price monitoring, price enforcement, and price adjudication of all agricultural products and other essential goods.
– A Joint Memorandum shall be made between the Department of Agriculture (DA) , Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) , and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) for strict implementaion of price monitoring measures
– The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) provides its full support for ongoing clinical trials for a planned COVID-19 vaccine through Sinovac Biotech inc.

Evidence/Justification: On 30 March 2020, the IATF created a sub-technical working group to develop a science-based approach in determining whether the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) should be lifted or extended by defining the parameters in assessing the Philippine’s COVID-19 situation.

On 30 April 2020, the Office of the Executive Secretary issued Executive Order No. 112, issuing Enhanced Community Quarantine in high-risk areas of the Philippines and General Community Quarantine for the rest of the Philippines.
