Overview: Establishment of parameters proposed by IATF sub-technical working group (TWG) on Data Analytics for deciding the lifting or extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Luzon. Parameters are the following:

1) Analyze trends in COVID-19 epidemiological curve (acceleration/deceleration of new cases; doubling time)

2) Analyze the capacity of the health care system

3) Social Factors

4) Economic Factors; and

5) Security Factors

– President Duterte also passed Presidential proclamation No.929 to enable both national government agencies and local government units (LGUs) to utilize emergency funds during the pandemic

-IATF convened in a meeting on March 30 2020 and passed a subsequent resolution calling for the development of science-based approach in determining whether the ECQ in Luzon can be extended or lifted.
