Overview: The National Security Committee (NSC) met for the first time on 13th March and decided to take a number of steps to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country. Measures taken include:
closing borders with Iran, Afghanistan for two weeks, shutting schools until April 5th, banning large public gatherings for two weeks, cancelling Pakistan Day parade, operating international flights only from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, and
remaining PSL matches to take place only in empty stadiums.
