Overview: The Penang government extends the hotel room fee waiver until June 30 next year to support the tourism industry. The hotel room fee was imposed at RM3 per room per night for four and five-star hotels and RM2 per room per night for facilities of three stars and below including hostels, budget motels and dormitories.
