Overview: Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced that Malaysia will close its borders to foreign travelers and Malaysian citizens will not be allowed to leave the country from Wednesday, March 18, through Tuesday, March 31, to prevent further spread of the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
