Overview: Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) will be working closely with the government to implement safe post-Covid-19 domestic travel plans. Safe standard operating procedures (SOP) for travel must be put in place for travelers, with a strict ban on those showing any symptoms of the virus.

Evidence/Justification: Checking of body temperatures and providing the public hand sanitizers are good measures but these are not enough. More needs to be done to help the tourism industry recover. Therefore, MATTA will be working with the government to provide more measures to keep the citizens safe.
