Lead People/Agency: The prime minister and the council of ministers took the decision. All air, sea and land ports, Rafih Hariri International Airport and all Lebanese should abide and implement these decisions.

Overview: Lebanon declared a state of “public health emergency” and announced “full mobilization” to better combat the coronavirus outbreak in the wake of a dramatic increase in cases over the weekend.
Rafic Hariri International Airport as well as the country’s land borders with Syria and its seaports, were closed to all travellers as per Minister of Information Manal Abdel-Samad following hours-long emergency Cabinet session.
