Overview: On March 5th, “New measures to drastically strengthening border measures” were decided at the 17th Meeting of the Novel Coronavirus Response Headquarters, followed by the cabinet agreements on “Further governmental measures to drastically strengthen border measures” made on March 6th. These measures were decided to continue implementing flexible border controls without hesitation, let alone domestic measures, at this extremely critical time amidst the further spreading of infections in foreign countries.
