Overview: The Crisis Cells in the governorates of Al-Diwaniyah and Nineveh held an emergency meeting and issued a number of important decisions:

Al-Diwaniyah:

Emphasis on dismantling gatherings in residential areas and markets, and closing cafes, gyms and swimming pools.

Stressing the commitment to preventive and safety procedures for employees of security services, and urging citizens to implement them to preserve the health of all.

Directing the security services to prevent social events (funeral councils, weddings) and follow the precautionary distancing.

To pay tribute to the tremendous efforts of the members of the White Army and the security services and their sacrifices to preserve the health and safety of citizens.

The continued closure of private medical clinics and the preparation of a report on the distribution of specialist doctors and consultants in health institutions.

Direct health personnel to be in the joint operation room and monitor their daily working hours in response to citizens’ calls

Nineveh:

Imposing a curfew on all parts of the governorate, starting from this Wednesday at 6 pm and continuing until 5 am on Sunday morning, 5 July.

Requesting the operations leaders and the Director of National Security to completely close the entrances to the governorate to expatriates and follow up on their affiliates regarding entrance closures.

The exclusion of health, service departments, ovens and food stores within neighborhoods.

The Nineveh Police Command must prevent any gathering or breach of the curfew and take legal action against violators.
