Overview: The Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government, announced the imposition of a comprehensive curfew throughout the region during the days of Eid Al-Fitr, stating that the ban will start on the first days of the holiday and continue for up to 72 hours. Strict penalties will be imposed against violators. This also came with the announcement that the markets, bakeries, and places previously allowed to serve citizens will be closed for a period of 72 hours from the first day of the holiday, except for pharmacies. The security forces, health teams and ambulances were excluded from the curfew.
