Overview: The Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi, announced the continuation of curfew from 6 pm to 5 am. He stressed that comprehensive preventive measures will be taken by the Ministry of Health in partnership with the security services and relevant authorities, stressing that preventive measures will be decisive to limit the spread of the virus.
The Director-General of Public Health in the Ministry, Dr. Riyad Al-Halfi stated that the adoption of the partial curfew was to give the opportunity to facilitate the movement of citizens of free professions during the day. He added that the comprehensive curfew was aimed to break the chain of the spread of the virus to reduce transmission between citizens quickly and to allow the health teams to identify the areas most affected by the virus in order to develop a new plan after the end of the comprehensive curfew week.
