Overview: Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, Duraid Yahya Jassim, announced the halt of suspension of exceptional flights and the opening of Iraqi airspace and airports for the purpose of returning the Iraqis stranded abroad to the country, according to the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety in accordance with the recommendations of the Iraqi Ministry of Health in the light of the mechanism of dealing with Iraqis returning home during the epidemic period of COVID-19 “. Also, he added that the returning Iraqis will undergo the necessary medical examinations and quarantine procedures in order to ensure their safety from the Coronavirus by the specialized committees of the Ministry of Health present in all Iraqi airports. These steps come to prevent the exacerbation of the epidemic crisis in Iraq.
