Overview: Karbala police chief, Ahmed Zwaini, instructed, to close all the main and branch entrances to the governorate, as the heyday of the half Shaban approaches. These days coincide with one of the millions of visits that the Karbala Governorate embraces every year, which is the visit of the half of Sha’ban, in which millions of citizens from inside and outside Iraq go to the shrine of Imam Al-Hussei. Zwaini stressed, that punishments will be imposed on anyone going against the curfew.
