Overview: The Minister of Transport, Abdullah Laibi, has directed an official letter to the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addressing European countries to evacuate Iraqis stranded in the European countries. Text messages were also sent to Iraqi counterparts in countries such as Britain, Germany and Spain, to give Iraq approval to carry out emergency trips for noble purposes and not commercial ones represented in the evacuation of Iraqis stranded in those countries and their return to the homeland.
