Overview: Following orders by the Central Crisis Cell and the Ministry of Health, the Wasit Health Department in Wasit, Iraq launched a field survey to examine families in the governorate using 162 teams. Regions were chosen according to the criteria of risk factors in the governorate center and its district. The survey included examining families from house to house and identifying cases of suspicion and taking health measures around them. The purpose of this step was to control the disease and prevent its spread in order to protect the people living in the province.
