Overview: The crisis cell in Maysan governorate following a meeting chaired by Governor Ali Douai and the presence of MP Bahaa Al-Nouri and all members of the cell issued a series of decisions after recording a number of Coronavirus infections:
-Emphasis on following the imposition of a total and comprehensive curfew until Saturday, the sixth of June, and with the exceptions previously applied.
-To close all the major governorate outlets except for wheels carrying food and medical utilities that were exempted from the Crisis Cell decisions.
-To close all the commercial stores in and around the big market (Education Street and Tigris Street) and allow only medical clinics to open, provided they adhere to the implementation of preventive and health measures.
-To prevent condolence councils and any events that necessitate human gatherings.
-Closure of football stadiums and coffee shops.
-Directed the security authorities to tighten their procedures within the popular areas and prevent gatherings that contribute to the spread of the virus.
-To heighten the number of informational messages aimed at raising awareness of the disease prevention methods and to warn about the risks of spreading the Coronavirus.
-Continuing sterilization and fumigation campaigns to all areas of the governorate.
