Overview: To improve the disease surveillance, WHO trained health workers on the Covid 19 and management measures. 20 directorates of health in 18 governorates were provided with 100,000 printed control & spread measures by the WHO. In addition, the WHO worked with the regional and federal health ministries to improve the disease management, detection and surveillance. In order to improve the detection of cases and protect the hospital staff, the WHO provided the ministries of health with personal protective equipments and laboratory test kits.
