Overview: The West Bengal government has decided to put the state under complete lockdown for two days every week w.e.f. 23rd July, 2020. This decision has been taken by the state government fearing the risk of community spread in some areas. This lockdown will be over and above the lockdown that was already in effect in containment zones in West Bengal.
