Overview: The Government of India advised people to avoid non-essential travel and public transport operators to maximise social distancing and ensure regular and proper disinfection of surfaces.
The government encouraged private sector organisations to allow employees to work from home wherever feasible, hold meetings by video conference where possible, and minimise or reschedule meetings involving large numbers of people.
