Overview: In a bid to cut the chain of transmission of the novel coronavirus and to minimise the potential of its spread, Kerala on Sunday amended the state Epidemic Disease Ordinance, putting the regulations in the state in place for the next one year. The new regulations known as ‘Kerala Epidemic Disease Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) Additional Regulations, 2020’, will be in force for a year i.e till July 2021, or till further government direction.
