Lead People/Agency: The Ministry of Labour made the request. The implementation will be done the Ministry of Labour and its department of labour, industrial relations, and productivity.

Overview: The Ministry of Labour under the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development (MGLSD) has requested all employers to provide the ministry with labour returns and statistics in order to evaluate the effect of coronavirus on the economy. The target audience was all employers within the formal economy. The intended effect was to give the Government more granular information on national labour statistics and the ability of the labour market to work from home.
