Overview: The Government of South Africa amended the prior prohibition on the movement of children between co-holders of parental responsibilities and rights to allow movement.

Movement is permitted provided there are arrangements in place in the terms of a court order or registered parenting plan, and that there is no person in the household reasonably suspected to have a possible COVID-19 contact.
