Evidence/Justification: The national coordination has the missions to define and to execute policies and measures to save lives and mitigate harm social and economic benefits of COVID-19. The main responsibilities are: strengthening prevention and response policies; control the spread of COVID-19; develop and enforce population protection measures; define a policy for the care of patients and their contacts and ensure its good implementation; take appropriate measures to support economic activities and particularly activities essential to the life of populations; maintain exchanges with specialized international organizations both in health and social matters only in the fields of economy and finance; obtain financial, technical and operational support from partners; organize adequate communication around the COVID-19 pandemic; ensure the proper execution of all measures taken as part of management of the pandemic.
