Overview: A state of health emergency was decreed resulting in a general and drastic restriction on the movement of people, applicable to all and to the entire national territory.
People may only leave their homes if necessary to go to work, shopping for essential supplies, and receiving medical care.
Any violation of the instructions is punishable by one to three months’ imprisonment and a fine ranging from 300 to 1,300 dirhams or one of the two penalties.
