Overview: The Ministry of Health issued an advisory in response to the declaration of covid-19 as an international public health emergency. In light of international events, a National Technical Coordinating Committee (NTCC) was formed to review the resilience of current arrangements to prevent a local outbreak of the disease. All non-essential travel to China is discouraged. The general public are advised to follow general hygiene and sanitation measures.
