Overview: After the the Presdients 3rd update (4th address) to the nation on COVID 19 response, the Ghana Tourism Authority under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture responded to the Presidents directive which suspended all public gathering, and advised all beaches to be closed until further notice

Evidence/Justification: The President of Ghana as of the 21st of March had done four official addresses on the governments response to COVID 19. In all these instances, the advisory on social distancing, handwahsing with soap and the use of hand sanitisers were given. Addiitonal directives included a ban on all public gatherings as part of the social distancing strategy
