15 March 2020 – Government introduces international travel advisory implementing mandatory quarantine period

Overview: Government through the Minister of Information imposed the following travel restrictions:
a. All travel to Ghana discouraged
b. Travelers (except Ghanaian citizens/persons with permits) who within last 14 days has been to a country that have recorded at least 200 cases of Covid 19 will not be admitted into the country
c. Mandatory 14 day quarantine for persons allowed to enter Ghana
d. Travelers exhibiting symptoms will be quarantined.
