16 April 2020 – UK grants £1.5 million to support the National Response Plan in DRC

Lead People/Agency: Announcement from the Head of British Cooperation, Robin Milton: “Our contribution will serve to meet the immediate needs of the response in order to fight against the spread of the virus in Kinshasa. In solidarity, we remain committed alongside the Congolese people in their fight against COVID19. This money will be used to provide 65 health centers in Kinshasa with hand-washing kits, training medical staff and building isolation units for patients with COVID19″.
