Overview: A response plan against COVID19 in the amount of 95.9 billion CFA francs [approximately 150 million euros] was announced by the Ivorian President on March 23, 2020. Each ministerial sector in application of the plan sets up its strategy. It is in this context that the Ministry of Employment and Social Protection announces three measures to guarantee jobs: Anticipation of paid holidays, part-time work, and technical unemployment by rotation whenever possible. . Recommendations made by the Permanent Independent Consultative Commission (CIPC). This coalition including Ivorian employers and workers’ unions.
