Overview: On April 22, 2020, the State of Côte d’Ivoire announced the construction of Forty-five (45) sampling and screening centers throughout the national territory, as part of the government’s health response plan against Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). To this end, the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene announced the opening of the 9th screening center in Attécoubé out of the 13 planned in Abidjan, on May 26, 2020, in order to strengthen the care system. This is done after the operation of the CHU Yopougon and Bingerville sites.

Evidence/Justification: Abidjan being the epicenter of the pandemic, it was decided to build nine (9) centers equipped with equipment and personnel. The objective is to help increase screening capacity and ensure rapid and effective of positive screened cases and their contacts.
