Overview: The National Security Council met this Thursday, April 9, 2020 under the Presidency of the President of the Republic to follow the evolution of COVID19, assess and make operational the economic, humanitarian and social measures taken. Additional measures have been taken:
– compulsory confinement at home of all frail persons, in particular the elderly and those suffering from chronic diseases.
– the manufacture by the local industry and the massive importation of masks intended for the use of the population as well as the production of the drugs by the local pharmaceutical industry with a view to covering the national needs.
