Evidence/Justification: The national watch committee chaired by the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, and composed of members of the National Institute of Public Hygiene (INHP), the Pasteur Institute of Côte d’Ivoire (IPCI), of the Emergency Medical Aid Service (SAMU) and the Infectious and Tropical Diseases Service (SMIT) of the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Treichville meets weekly and the explanation given is to co-ordinate and orient the strategies on the fight against the disease in order to counter the spread.
