Overview: WHO will send experts to Venezuela to support fight against COVID-19
A commission of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) from the city of Geneva will arrive in the country in the coming days. This assistance responds to the formal request of the National Government to the WHO for humanitarian technical assistance and cooperation to combat the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the nation. The support that the health agency will provide also includes the sending of diagnostic kits and supplies necessary to serve the Venezuelan population.
