19 May 2020 – Mandatory preventive isolation and health emergency extended

Overview: The mandatory preventive isolation as it is proposed until May 25, extends until May 31. One more week, in which fundamental measures will be taken to adapt to new cycles.

The Health Emergency (which initially ran until May 31) runs until August 31.

From June 1 and until June 30 we will start a new stage with more intelligence and collective discipline, moving forward with regionalization and gradualism, hand in hand with mayors and governors, recognizing the particularities of the different regions of the country.

The foregoing, with the aim of gradually returning to commerce, professional services, and medical services not related to Covid-19, domestic service, museums, and libraries with gauging control, among others.

Restaurants continue with addresses.

The limitations in public transport remain at 35% of its capacity.

Colleges and Universities in June and July will continue with home study. They will begin to give spaces for the recovery of laboratory work with the respective protocols. It is expected that from the month of August it will begin to recover the presence.

Public entities: 80% of its workers will be kept working at home.

The call to carry out all possible telework is maintained.

Those over 70 will be in preventive isolation until June 30, with guidelines so that they can have some outside space with precautions and support from local authorities, from June 1.

Between June 1 and June 30 spaces for children under 5 will be released with all biosafety protocols.

Inter-municipal transport is not yet allowed, nor is national and international air transport.

All these measures are framed in the principle of recovering a productive life but not a social life.
