Overview: The Argentine Government will make a one-off payment of ARS$10,0000 to support workers in vulnerable situations. People who are either unemployed, working under informal conditions, or those who fit in the lowest categories of “self-employment tax payer” (“monotributo”), will be the beneficiaries of this income support payment.
The payment will benefit approximately 3.6 million households, and will be paid in April. It is called “Ingreso Familiar de Emergencia (IFE)”, which translates to “Emergency Family Income.”
