Overview: The White House issued guidelines for the public to slow the spread of COVID-19. The initial policy, “15 Days to Slow the Spread,” was updated on March 30 to “30 Days to Slow the Spread” through April.
The guidelines limit social gatherings of more than 10 people and discretionary travel. Federal guidelines ask citizens to follow state and local guidelines, which differ substantially across the country.
