Overview: COVID-19 Declaration of Emergency Directive 021 promotes the Nevada United: Roadmap to Recovery to help with a federally supported, state managed, and locally executed reopening approach by giving county governments the authority to impose additional COVID-19 related restrictions on businesses and public activities. Section 1 of Directive 007 is amended to allow the general public to gather but in groups no larger than 50 in any indoor or outdoor areas begining May 29th at 12:01am. Places of worship may now allow gatherings of no more than 50 individuals following COVID-19 safety guidelines. Employers should continue to promote telecommunicating or other remote work options to help support vulnerable persons and workers caring for children who are home due to school and children care closures. On May 29th, indoor malls and non-retail indoor venues such as movie theaters or amusement parks, fitness facilities, body art and piercing facilities, trade and technical schools, massage establishments, and aquatic venues are allowed to reopen at 50% capacity. Begining May 29th, any events with live performance may resume without a public attendance. Estheticians and salons are allowed to reopen with implelmented COVID-19 safety percautions on May 29th. Section 18 of Directive 018 is amended to allow places that are not licensed to serve food may reopen to the public on May 29th at 50% capacity and COVID-19 saftey measures. Museums, art galleries, zoos and aquariums may reopen at 50% capacity begining on May 29th. Summer camps may continue operation while practicing COVID-19 safety regulations.
