Overview: COVID-19 Declaration of Emergency Directive 004 closes Nevada’s DMV offices until April 16th. This directive also extends the experation date of all non-commercial and commercial driver licenses, non­ commercial and commercial instruction permits, identification cards, or Driver Authorization Cards (DAC) issued pursuant to NRS Chapter 483 for 90 days, for the licenses, permits, identification cards, or DAC expiring during the time period of March 16, 2020 through April 30, 2020. During this grace period, no administrative action can be taken against a person by the DMV.
