Overview: Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced declared a state of emergency. The National Guard was activated and together with the Department of Health began the screening of passengers arriving on the Island. Likewise, all events that brought together many people were canceled and moratoriums for renewals of tags and licenses were announced.
