Overview: Order 12-2020: This order outlines updated operational and outbreak standards for long-term care and licensed supportive living facilities. The changes include removing residential addiction treatment facilities from the scope of the standards, updating the COVID-19 symptoms, and testing all residents and staff when COVID-19 is identified in a facility. Furthermore, the changes include updated COVID-19 questionnaires, recommendations for eye protection, guidelines for promoting quality of life, and clarifications on essential staff. The aim of the standards is to keep seniors and other members of vulnerable populations living and working in congregate settings as safe as possible.
