Level of Jurisdiction: National

Overview: The Public Health Agency of Sweden issued guidelines to restaurants and pubs to slow the spread of Covid-19.

The guidelines state that care should be taken by restaurants and pubs to avoid crowding in confined spaces, including in queues, buffets, bar-disks or at tables.

If a restaurant is deemed by the regional medical officer to be behaving in a high-risk manner, the Medical Officer can, together with the local council, decide to shut down the offending establishment.
