Overview: With respect to the measures imposed at the border with Italy, the Slovenian Minister of Health, Aleš Šabeder, stressed that Slovenia had not closed its border with Italy but had imposed health checks of passengers to contain the spread of the coronavirus. To this end, six check points will be set up at the following locations: Rateče, Robič, Vrtojba, Škofije, Fernetiči and Krvavi potok. All other border crossings will be closed. The closure will be carried out by road operators that will also set up the necessary signs.
