Overview: The Luxembourg Government issued the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 25 March 2020, suspending procedural deadlines in judicial matters and adapting certain other procedural modalities. This applies in particular to the time limits for appeals and objections against judicial decisions, for bankruptcy petitions, for declarations of birth, etc. Moreover, the legal or conventional time limits for engaging in first instance legal proceedings before the judicial, administrative or military courts, or for non-contentious appeals, have been postponed. Hence, the time limits that expire during the state of crisis will be extended by 2 months from the date of the end of the state of crisis; and in the month following the end of the state of crisis are extended by 1 month from their due date.
